1. What are the prerequisites for joining the Durham MBA programme?
A good first degree or a professional qualification and at least 3 year’s work experience. On a case by case, we consider students who may not have a first degree but who have very good work experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity for 3 years or more.2. When can I apply for this year’s programme?
We are currently accepting applications and arranging interviews for this year’s programme, which commences October 6th 2009.3. How long is the programme for?
Twenty four months (2 years).4. How many courses do I have to do?
Seven core modules and five elective courses plus a 15,000 dissertation.5. How often do I have to attend classes?
Approximately every 5 weeks for a 4 day period (Wednesday to Saturday)- Wednesday & Thursday 4:30 - 9:00 PM
- Friday & Saturday - 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM

The programme is taught exclusively by visiting faculty from Durham Business School.8. How is assessment done?
Five core modules are assessed by assignment and an exam and the remaining two, as well as all five electives, are assessed by assignment only.9. What is the duration of an exam?

10. When and how are assignments submitted?
Approximately 2 weeks after each teaching session and is uploaded online to the Business School’s intranet.11. How can I pay my fees?
The fee for the programme is Bds$45,000. A non-refundable deposit of $1,000 is paid on acceptance of your offer of a place on the programme; the balance is paid in two lump sums: $24,000 at the commencement of the first year’s studies and $20,000 at the commencement of the 2nd year.CariMEC can offer an easy payment option that requires no security and no formalities, although we ask you to sign a direct debit form for the monthly payments. With this option you would pay as follows:
- Deposit payable on acceptance (non-refundable) $1,000 Bds
- Payment due on registration (5th October 2009) $5,000 Bds
- Monthly instalment for 24 months commencing (31st October 2009) $1,800 Bds
- Total amount to pay over the two years $49,200 Bds
