Peter Allen BSc, MBAThe Caribbean Management Education Centre is pleased to introduce a 2-Day Executive Workshop in Managing Through Recession Into Recovery.

 

Your Tutor will Be Peter Allen BSc, MBA.

 

Peter Allen teaches Strategic Management at Durham Business School and is Director of the Durham Caribbean MBA Programme. As a politician, he is also responsible for the £1 billion budget, 11,500 staff and significant property assets of a major UK city. He is also a non-executive director of the holding company for Newcastle International Airport. Peter’s research interests are in economic regeneration, particularly the dynamics of industrial clusters and regional governance structures, and the management of strategic change within public sector organisations.

 

Peter joined the Durham Business School in 1991 and his past experience includes corporate planning within the steel industry and international management consultancy. He is currently the academic director for Durham’s MBA programmes in the Caribbean and Frankfurt. He has also been Secretary to the Board of Studies; Director of the Combined Honours degree in Social Sciences; undergraduate director and degree tutor and sits on a number of University committees.
